COUNTY BOARD OF LEGISLATORS
SPECIAL MEETING
AUGUST 20, 2007 (3:40 P.M.)
The County Board of Legislators met pursuant to adjournment.
The Honorable William J. Ryan in the Chair.
The Chair opened the meeting at 4:16 p.m. with the salute to our flag and an invocation.
The roll call resulted as follows:
Legislators: Oros, Abinanti, Alvarado, Bronz, Burton, Jenkins, Kaplowitz, LaMotte, Myers, Pinto, Spreckman, Swanson, Young, Chair – 14
Absent: Legislators: Rogowsky, Burrows, Maisano - 3
SPECIAL ORDERS:
CHAIR OF THE BOARD AND THE COMMITTEE ON ENVIRONMENT & ENERGY: Agricultural District No. 1: RES 164-2007: A Resolution setting a Public Hearing pursuant to Section 303-b of the New York State Agriculture and Markets Law and Westchester County Act No. 55-2004 upon the proposed inclusion of additional parcels of land within Westchester County Agricultural District No. 1. [Public Hearing set for September 10, 2007; at 10:30 a.m.; RES 165-2007]
Mr. Kaplowitz presented the following report and Resolution and moved that the report be received, filed and approved and the Resolution adopted, which motion was carried by the following vote:
AYE: Legislators: Oros, Abinanti, Alvarado, Bronz, Burton, Jenkins, Kaplowitz, LaMotte, Myers, Pinto, Spreckman, Young, Chair – 13
NAY: None
Ms. Swanson was not present when the vote was taken.
On MOTION of Legislator Alvarado, 17th District, the Board adjourned at 4:20 p.m. to meet again on September 10, 2007 at 10:00 a.m.
