Yonkers, NY — After months of preparation, a group of talented seniors from all over the Westchester community presented the 2005 Senior Holiday Show at the Polish Center in Yonkers. A large audience filled with friends, supporters and local officials gathered to bring in the holiday season with good food, great company and wonderful entertainment.
“This is a group of really dedicated seniors who work hard to put on shows that entertain the community,” said Spreckman. “We really enjoy rehearsing and we always look forward to performing classic material from our generation. Our performances have turned into a very popular tradition over the years. The holiday show is always performed during the first week in December, so it’s a great way for us and other members of the community to kick off the holiday season and really get into a festive spirit,” concluded Spreckman.
Many thanks to Senator Nicholas Spano for securing the New York State grant that funds the spring and winter senior shows.
