After announcing a Monday, January 30th, 3pm committee hearing regarding Con Edison and NYSEG’s poor performance in restoring power after last week’s storm, Westchester County Legislators Michael B. Kaplowitz (D-I-WF, Somers) and Thomas J. Abinanti (D-I-WF, Greenburgh) say they have been inundated with calls from County residents voicing their displeasure as well.

“We want to hear everyone’s concerns and be able to present a comprehensive picture to the power companies and the NYS Public Service Commission,” said Kaplowitz.

Abinanti noted that based on the calls he is receiving, “there seems to be multiple problems ranging from insufficient public notification to communication with essential local agencies.”

The two lawmakers are urging those who have been affected to forward their experiences to them by fax: (914) 995-3884
or by e-mail at Kaplowitz@westchesterlegislators.com or Abinanti@westchesterlegislators.com.
