At the invitation of County Legislator Martin Rogowsky (D,I,WF-Port Chester), the Port Chester High School boys’ basketball team topped off their winning season with a team trip to Madison Square Garden. Nine members of the team, along with the team’s coaches, Superintendent Colletti, members of the Port Chester School Board and Rogowsky attended the April 8th Knicks-Bullets game.
Through the efforts of Legislator Rogowsky, the New York Knickerbockers supplied the tickets free-of-charge.
He also arranged for the group to be seated on floor level to watch pre-game warm-ups. The group had the chance to meet former Knick greats Walt (Clyde) Frazier, John Starks and Cal Ramsey prior to the game.
