County Legislator Martin Rogowsky (D, I, WF – Harrison) is pleased to announce that he has secured a $75,000 Community Development Block Grant Program (CDBG) grant for the Town/Village of Harrison. The grant will be used to improve the sidewalks on Broadway, Sterling Avenue, Willow Street and Locust Avenue by replacing the concrete curb, the sidewalks and the drainage.
“The sidewalks in this area have deteriorated over the years,” said Rogowsky. “I am pleased to have been able to secure the funds needed for their critically needed refurbishment.”
The annual CDBG funding plan is now in its thirty-first year and is a joint partnership involving the federal government, the county and the local villages, towns and city governments.
