Seniors Get A Break In Cortlandt
With help from legislation passed by the Board of Legislators in July, Wilder Balter Partners and their development team held the ground-breaking ceremony Tuesday for the Jacob's Hill Village Senior Development in Cortlandt. The Board of Legislators passed two bond acts for almost $4 million to the total development cost of over $20 million so that seniors with incomes at or below 60% of the County's median income can afford decent rental units. The project will consist of 102 units--81 one-bedrooms and 21 two-bedrooms--on 21 acres of vacant land on Route 6.
