Tobi Rogowsky, Board member of the Southern New York chapter of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, has bravely undertaken the cause of MS since being diagnosed herself with the disease in 1973. As Mistress of Ceremonies at the June 20th fundraiser which featured a silent auction, Ms. Rogowsky expressed the chapter's appreciation for actress Teri Garr's outstanding work in support of fighting MS. In her work as a MS LifeLines Ambassador, Garr travels throughout the US speaking about her experiences and empowering others with MS to educate themselves about the disease and to seek treatment early.
Through her fundraising efforts over the course of 18 years, Ms. Rogowsky has led the Chapter to raising more than $750,000 to fight the disease.
