May 6, 2008 County Legislature Honors 2008 Recipients of CHAIRMAN'S YOUTH AWARD During a ceremony that preceded its May 5th meeting, the Board of Legislators honored 18 Westchester kids for their outstanding environmental contributions.

April 29, 2008 County Legislature Honors Science Fair Winners Before the start of its April 28 meeting, the Board of Legislators honored high school students from around the County who won awards at WESEF and represented Westchester County at the INTEL International Science and Engineering Fair (ISEF).
April 29, 2008 Kaplowitz to Head Legislature's Subcommittee on Energy Efficiency County Legislator and Board Vice Chairman Michael B. Kaplowitz (D-IN-WF, Somers) tapped to head Subcommittee on Energy Efficiency (SEE), created by Environment & Energy Committee Chair, Tom Abinanti.
