1)__________COMMITTEE ON BUDGET & APPROPRIATIONS AND THE COMMITTEE ON FAMILY, HEALTH & HUMAN SERVICES: Agreement with WCHCC for Rapid HIV Testing: ACT________-2007: Act authorizing the County to enter into an agreement with WCHCC whereby WCHCC shall provide expanded access to rapid HIV testing and counseling by working with community-based partners to reach target high-risk populations that might not otherwise have access to HIV testing services, on a non-exclusive basis for an amount not to exceed $15,000 for the period June 1, 2007 through May 31, 2008.

B)__________COMMITTEE ON LEGISLATION: Home Rule Request: RES________-2007: Resolution requesting the enactment of Assembly Bill No. 8482/Senate Bill No. 6062 entitled, “AN ACT to amend chapter 272 of the laws of 1991, amending the tax law relating to the method of disposition of sales and compensating use tax revenue in Westchester county and enacting the Westchester county spending limitation act, in relation to extending the expiration thereof.”

1)________Home Rule Request: RES________ -2007: Resolution requesting the enactment of Assembly Bill No. 7849a/Senate Bill No. 5125a entitled “AN ACT to amend the environmental conservation law, in relation to the establishment of the Hudson Valley community preservation act of 2007; to amend the general municipal law, in relation to authorizing designated communities to establish community preservation funds; and to amend the tax law, in relation to authorizing designated communities to impose a real estate transfer tax with revenues therefrom to be deposited in such community preservation funds.

2)__________COMMITTEE ON LEGISLATION AND THE COMMITTEE ON PUBLIC WORKS, TRANSPORTATION, LABOR & PARKS: Apprenticeship Agreements: RES________-2007: Resolution setting a public hearing on a proposed Local Law adding a new Chapter 309 of the Laws of Westchester County to require that county contractors and subcontractors have in place, prior to entering into a construction contract, apprenticeship agreements appropriate for the type and scope of work to be performed, that have been registered with and approved by the New York State Commissioner of Labor.
