The County Board of Legislators met pursuant to adjournment.

The Honorable William J. Ryan in the Chair.

The Chair opened the meeting with the salute to our flag and an invocation.

COMMITTEE ON BUDGET & APPROPRIATIONS: Quality Communities Program: RES 4-2006: Resolution authorizing the Chief Information Officer of the County to file an application for funds from the NYS Department of State Quality Communities Program for Environmental Protection Funds not to exceed $35,026.97.

Mr. Kaplowitz presented the following Resolution and moved its adoption, which was declared adopted.

COMMITTEE ON BUDGET & APPROPRIATIONS: Shared Municipal Services Incentive Grant Program: RES 5-2006: Resolution authorizing the Chief Information Officer of the County to file an application for funds from the NYS Department of Shared Municipal Services Incentive Grant program in an amount not to exceed $65,000.

Mr. Kaplowitz presented the following Resolution and moved its adoption, which was declared adopted.

COMMITTEE ON BUDGET & APPROPRIATIONS AND THE COMMITTEE ON PUBLIC SAFETY & SECURITY: Intermunicipal Agreement: ACT 8-2006: Act authorizing the County to enter into an IMA with the Hawthorne Fire District to reimburse it for services rendered to the County.

Mr. Burton presented the following report and Act and moved that the report be received, filed and approved and the Act adopted, which motion was carried by the following vote:

COMMITTEE ON BUDGET & APPROPRIATIONS AND THE COMMITTEE ON HOUSING, PLANNING & GOVERNMENT OPERATIONS: James Varick Homes Affordable Housing Development: ACT 12-2006: Act authorizing the County to purchase and convey .964 acres of real property located in Mount Vernon for the purpose of providing 16 affordable two-family homes.
