The County Board of Legislators met pursuant to adjournment.

The Honorable William J. Ryan in the Chair.

The Chair opened the meeting with the salute to our flag and an invocation.

COMMUNICATION: COUNTY EXECUTIVE: Property Conveyance: Proposed Act authorizing the County to convey 4.903 acres of real property located in the Town of Eastchester, and formerly part of the County-owned Twin Lakes Park, to the Town of Eastchester for the purpose of providing a composting facility for the benefit of the Town of Eastchester and the Villages of Tuckahoe and Bronxville was on the motion of Mr. Rogowsky received, filed and referred to the Committee on Budget and Appropriations and the Committee on Public Works, Transportation, Labor and Parks.

COMMUNICATION: COUNTY EXECUTIVE: IMAs - Easements: Proposed Act authorizing the County to enter into IMAs with Westchester County municipalities in order for the municipalities to provide easements to the County to enable the County to make improvements at bus stop locations was on the motion of Mr. Rogowsky received, filed and referred to the Committee on Budget and Appropriations and the Committee on Public Works, Transportation, Labor and Parks.

COMMUNICATION: COUNTY EXECUTIVE: IMAs – Transportation Services: Proposed Act authorizing the County to enter into IMAs with local municipalities under the AAA Transportation Program was on the motion of Mr. Rogowsky received, filed and referred to the Committee on Budget and Appropriations and the Committee on Public Works, Transportation, Labor and Parks.

COMMUNICATION: COUNTY EXECUTIVE: IMA – Town of Cortlandt: Proposed Act authorizing the County to enter into an IMA with the Town of Cortlandt whereby the County, acting through its Department of Public Safety Services, shall provide supplemental police services to the Town was on the motion of Mr. Rogowsky received, filed and referred to the Committee on Budget and Appropriations and the Committee on Public Safety and Security.

COMMUNICATION: COUNTY EXECUTIVE: Sewer District Modification: Proposed Act modifying the Peekskill Sanitary Sewer District by the addition of one parcel of property located in the Town of Cortlandt (Pierce Street) was on the motion of Mr. Rogowsky received, filed and referred to the Committee on Budget and Appropriations and the Committee on Public Works, Transportation, Labor and Parks.

COMMUNICATION: HON. WILLIAM RYAN: Interpretation of County Administrative Code: Forwarding correspondence from the Supervisor of the Town of Yorktown regarding the interpretation of the County Administrative Code with reference to adding or subtracting parcels from county sewer districts was on the motion of Mr. Rogowsky received, filed and referred to the Committee on Budget and Appropriations, the Committee on Public Works, Transportation, Labor and Parks and the Committee on Legislation.

[Public Hearing set for October 10, 2006; at 7:30 p.m.; Act 201-2006]
