White Plains, NY — In proclaiming October Italian Heritage and Culture Month in Westchester County, the Board of Legislators will celebrate the outstanding contributions of individuals and organizations within the community at our next meeting.

This annual celebration will take place Monday, October 7, 2019 at 6:30 p.m.

In collaboration with the Westchester Coalition of Italian American Organizations (WCIAO), we will bestow special recognition on outstanding students and teachers of Italian language.

The Board will also honor:

• The Circolo da Vinci Society of Yorktown Heights
• Nick Franzoso, Chief of the Ossining Volunteer Ambulance Corps.

We invite you to celebrate their outstanding contributions at our October 7 meeting, when the Board will present special proclamations in their honor, and to have the opportunity to hear them address the Board and guests.
