Panel Shares Priorities for Families, Workers, Small Businesses and Housing

Members of the Westchester County Board of Legislators attended The Business Council of Westchester’s (BCW) Annual Legislative Reception at the Cambria Hotel in White Plains yesterday, engaging in substantive discussions with county business leaders on key economic issues.

Legislators Judah Holstein, Catherine Parker, Ben Boykin, Tyrae Woodson-Samuels, James Nolan, David Tubiolo, Jewel Williams Johnson, Erika Pierce, and David Imamura participated in lively panel conversations about economic and workforce development, job creation, housing initiatives, artificial intelligence legislation, and county support for small businesses.

The event was moderated by John Ravitz, BCW’s Executive Vice President and COO, with participation from BCW’s President Dr. Marsha Gordon, and other BCW leaders including those from its Government Action Council and dozens of members from a wide variety of industries across the County.

The Business Council of Westchester serves as the county's largest business membership organization, representing 1,000 members across diverse sectors including multinational corporations, mid-sized businesses, professional firms, nonprofit organizations, and small businesses. The organization promotes economic prosperity throughout Westchester County.

The Board of Legislators emphasized the importance of maintaining ongoing partnerships with the business community to address economic challenges and opportunities.
