In proclaiming March as Irish History Month in Westchester County, the Board of Legislators will celebrate the outstanding contributions of individuals within the Irish-American community at our first March Board meeting.

This annual celebration of Irish History Month is scheduled for Monday, March 12, 2018 at 6:30 PM. This year the Board will honor two distinguished citizens:

  • Seamus Clarke, Owner of J.P. Clarke’s Saloon on McLean Avenue in Yonkers and member of the McLean Avenue Merchants Association
  • Honorable John Martin, President of the White Plains Common Council and Founder and Chair of the White Plains St. Patrick’s Day Parade Committee

All are invited to celebrate their outstanding contributions at our March 12, 2018 Board meeting, when the Board will present special proclamations in their honor, and have the opportunity to hear them address the Board and guests.
