Albanian Heritage Honorees

White Plains, NY — The Westchester County Board of Legislators recognized its first Albanian Heritage Month on Monday, October 8 with a special ceremony and video presentation honoring children’s health advocate Albana Krasniqi of Yonkers, and prominent surgeon and telemedicine innovator, Dr. Rifat Latifi of Somers. 

On Monday, the Board of Legislators unanimously passed a resolution declaring a climate emergency in Westchester County.

Curto, Jr.

White Plains, NY -- You've probably seen water bottle filling stations at gyms, schools, airports, national parks and elsewhere. Now, you're about to see them at Westchester County Parks, thanks to a new measure passed Monday night by the Board of Legislators.
